Location-Based Service Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between RecycleFarm, which utilizes location information, and users who use the location-based services provided by RecycleFarm for environmental conservation activities.

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms of Use)

1. These terms become effective upon the user's agreement during service usage.

2. RecycleFarm may amend the terms at any desired time, with the revised terms immediately announced within the service, and taking effect upon announcement.

Article 3 (Contents of Location-Based Services)

1. RecycleFarm's location-based services utilize users' current location information to provide services for participating in environmental conservation activities and offering rewards.

2. The accuracy of location-based services depends on users' device settings and the accuracy of location information providers, for which RecycleFarm assumes no responsibility.

Article 4 (Utilization and Storage of Location Information)

1. RecycleFarm collects and utilizes users' location information during the use of location-based services.

2. Location information is used for users' participation in environmental conservation activities and reward distribution purposes only, without being used for other purposes without user consent.

3. Location information is immediately disposed of upon user service discontinuation and is not provided to third parties except as required by law.

Article 5 (Provision of Location Information to Third Parties)

1. RecycleFarm does not provide location information to third parties without user consent.

2. However, in cases necessary for users' environmental conservation activities, as required by law, or in emergencies such as risks to users' lives or bodies, location information may be provided to third parties.

Article 6 (Protection and Security Measures for Personal Information)

1. Personal information related to location information is handled in accordance with RecycleFarm's privacy policy.

2. Location information is securely stored through encryption, with appropriate security measures in place to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, alteration, etc.

Article 7 (Changes to and Discontinuation of Services)

1. RecycleFarm may change or discontinue all or part of the services with prior notice due to operational or technical requirements.

2. RecycleFarm is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from service discontinuation.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

1. RecycleFarm is not responsible for the accuracy-related aspects of location-based services due to their nature.

2. RecycleFarm is not responsible for damages such as device damage or data loss occurring during the use of location-based services.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

1. Disputes related to these terms shall be resolved through mutual agreement between the parties, and if such agreement is difficult, lawsuits shall be governed by the jurisdiction of the court where RecycleFarm is located.

Article 10 (Miscellaneous)

1. Matters not specified in these terms shall be governed by relevant laws and RecycleFarm's operational policies.

These Location-Based Service Terms of Use shall be effective from July 01, 2023.
